The honest answer is that it depends on size, layout complexity and whether the crew is consistent. But numbers help more than caveats, so here are ours.

A 50 by 30 detached garage in Senoia went up in a single day, because everything was cut and staged before the walls went vertical.

Custom homes are a different order of magnitude. We have framed 8,000, 9,000 and 11,000 sq ft builds across Metro Atlanta, and on those the schedule is driven as much by weather and delivery as by carpentry.

What moves the number most is not square footage, it is how many times the crew changes.
