Project overview
A three storey new build in Atlanta with a rooftop terrace, and one of our favourite builds of that year. We had framed the house next door the season before.
The challenge
A rooftop terrace changes the load path of everything under it, and on a narrow infill lot there is very little room to stage material or work around the structure.
How we ran it
The structure was framed for the terrace load from the ground up rather than reinforced afterwards, and the sequence was planned around a tight site.
