Nothing is hidden. On a framed wall the structure disappears behind drywall. On heavy timber over a pool deck, the structure is the finished product and it is looked at from every angle, in full sun.

Timber sized and cut for appearance as well as load, with the connections detailed to be seen. The result is a structure that reads as part of the club rather than as something added to it.
